Cleaning Vinyl Windows

Confused about how to best clean your vinyl windows. Luckily, vinyl windows, long popular with homeowners because they are long-lasting, and also easy to maintain. These windows can be slid out of their frames and tilt for easy cleaning. Unfortunately, they are prone to scratches and can be easily damaged if you don't use the correct cleaning products. With proper care, however, the average homeowner can clean their vinyl windows safely using regular household cleaning products.

Here's how:

First, unlock the window and raise the bottom sash. Use the tilt latches on either side of the window to tilt the bottom sash towards you until it is flat.

Then mix a small amount of dish soap with water, and use a soft cloth to clean the windows in a circular motion until all dirt and debris has been removed.

That's it! It's easy to enjoy clean, bright windows without harming the glass surface.
