Cleaning Vinyl Windows

Confused about how to best clean your vinyl windows. Luckily, vinyl windows, long popular with homeowners because they are long-lasting, and also easy to maintain. These windows can be slid out of their frames and tilt for easy cleaning. Unfortunately, they are prone to scratches and can be easily damaged if you don't use the correct cleaning products. With proper care, however, the average homeowner can clean their vinyl windows safely using regular household cleaning products.

Here's how:

First, unlock the window and raise the bottom sash. Use the tilt latches on either side of the window to tilt the bottom sash towards you until it is flat.

Then mix a small amount of dish soap with water, and use a soft cloth to clean the windows in a circular motion until all dirt and debris has been removed.

That's it! It's easy to enjoy clean, bright windows without harming the glass surface.

Jon has been working with The Window Man as a window replacement consultant since 2003. He has visited ten factories to see first hand the care and detail each factory gives to their products. He has dedicated himself to acquiring all of the knowledge on each and every product we provide to our clients. Prior to working with The Window Man he enjoyed himself as a Sales Representative in the men's clothing industry but due to changes in that industry he had to make a decision to find another path in his career. After a month of searching he found a home with The Window Man, a company that shared his strong values and principals of honesty, integrity, and a "low pressure" sales strategy. This has been quite a refreshing experience in the sales industry and he has found that he is able to serve each client with the same high quality of service that he would expect for himself.
