HORIZONTAL HINGE SYSTEM

• The heart of the window is the Spilka hinge. It determines how long a window will last. The Spilka Window hinge carries a 10 year guaranty
• Carrying the weight at the center balance point allows the window to fully reverse for washing without interfering with window treatments
• The projected operation allows for ventilation in rainy weather and provides a softer ventilation
• The hinge allows the window to seal on a flat plane and is the reason for it's air tightness

• Easy one motion operation
• Meets the American Disabilities Act requiring a 5 pound operating force
• Has multiple ventilating positions, incorporates a full width locking rod for tight sealing and allows the window tho have the industries highest security rating against forced entry
• Meets all fire egress codes without a special type of hardware or special operation knowledge

SCREEN

• Extruded aluminum frame with staked corner keys for strength
• Cam operators for easy screen removal
• Aluminum or fiberglas mesh screen cloth. Requires no special tools to replace the screen

• Each window is built to exact customer specifications
• Custom sills are available if required
• Jamb extensions and interior trim are available
• The sash can be configured to meet the project needs. Often we can use large sash making the rooms feel more open
• Exterior extruded aluminum panning system provides a maintenance free exterior in replacement applications

REMOVABLE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR GRILLS

• Exterior grills are heavy weight extruded aluminum with a snap mount for easy removal or tamper proof mounted for security
• Interior wood grills are molded pine or oak with metal pin mounting
• Between the glass grills are an option for a complete simulated divided lite appearance

SERVICEABILITY

• Pressure glazing system allows the glass to be replaced without requiring special tools
• Weather-stripping is curf mounted and removable, allowing you to recondition the windows or remove weather-strip when the window is being finished
• All operating hardware parts are designed to be easily replaced should the need arise
